FangLand on TV! How we created Romania’s most ambitious survival game. In this interview, we talked about what FangLand is, the vision behind the project, and where the idea for creating such a survival game came from. Many thanks to the TVR team for the invitation!
Am fost invitați la Aleph News să dăm din casă (sau mai bine zis, din pădure). Am povestit despre cum transformăm complet ideea de entertainment în România și despre deschiderea publicului pentru experiențe imersive. Am dezbătut ce înseamnă un concept d e Open World și, partea preferată a celor care vor să își testeze limitele, cum funcționează, de fapt, mecanica de contamnare.
Ideea FangLand a apărut dintr-un hobby personal, după participarea la evenimente similare în afara țării, dar și din identificarea unei nișe neexploatate pe piața locală. România are una dintre cele mai cunoscute legende de groază din lume, legenda lui Dracula, însă, spune antreprenorul, nu avea până acum un eveniment imersiv în care vampirii să devină parte activă din experiență.
Inspirat de legenda lui Dracula şi de jocurile de tip RPG (Role-Playing Games), antreprenorul a creat FangLand, un concept de entertainment imersiv desfăşurat într-o pădure de peste 70 de hectare, unde participanţii petrec 16 ore într-un scenariu cu vampiri, misiuni şi provocări de supravieţuire.
An immersive concept inspired by Dracula's mythology and built as a live action role-playing game (LARP) experience, set in a forest spanning over 700,000 square meters in Codlea, Brașov. For 16 hours, participants enter a world where every choice matters: they form alliances, complete missions, build shelters, search for resources, and try to survive until sunrise.
A large-scale event that transforms a simple simulation into an authentic and challenging adventure, testing participants’ physical and strategic limits.
Participants will be able to explore different themed zones, interact with characters inspired by the vampire universe, and take on survival missions. Announced activities include forming alliances, building shelters, searching for resources, and progressing through scenarios inspired by the legends of Transylvania.
In a context where experiences are becoming a new form of gift, FangLand is built around the idea that people are no longer looking only for objects, but for stories they can live through and pass on. For the 25–39 generation, spending time differently, experiencing genuine emotions, and breaking out of routine are starting to become the most valuable personal investment.
